400 factories in Cambodia suspend operations, affecting over 150,000 workers due to Covid-19


PHNOM PENH (Xinhua): About 400 garments, footwear and travel goods factories in Cambodia have suspended their operations, leaving over 150,000 workers jobless due to the Covid-19 pandemic, according to a joint statement on Wednesday.

The statement was jointly released by the Garment Manufacturers Association in Cambodia, the Cambodia Footwear Association and the European Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia.
