Thailand's trains running at half capacity to carry passengers under social distancing rule


BANGKOK (Xinhua): The trains of the State Railway of Thailand (SRT) are running at half capacity to carry passengers under social distancing rule, confirmed SRT Governor Nirut Maneephan on Tuesday (June 9).

The number of passengers on each train is currently only half the usual number under social distancing order while other anti-pandemic measures are also strictly taken at railway stations and aboard, Nirut said.
