Laos virus taskforce urges handwashing to ward off new infections

VIENTIANE: The National Taskforce Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control has called on the public to maintain proper handwashing to avoid a relapse of the virus, even though Laos has reported no new cases for 41 consecutive days.

Handwashing not only reduces the spread of Covid-19 (coronavirus), but it can also prevent the transmission of other viral illnesses such as colds and flu.
