Photo Kit: Wildlife in your backyard

FEATHERED NEIGHBOUR: This blue-tailed bee-eater stayed in my area for a couple of weeks, allowing me to get reasonably close with my telephoto lens.

I enjoy shooting insects a lot more, really, and I can honestly say I've managed to take quite a few photos of insects and spiders that I'm pretty happy with.

Recently, though, just as I was stepping in to my car to drive to work, I spied a colorful bird that I'd not noticed before.
