Sattaya holds on to capture shortened Impian Championship


Thailand golfer Sattaya Supupramai won the rain-shortened Impian Championships by two shots on Saturday.

PETALING JAYA: Thailand’s Sattaya Supupramai held a clutch of Malaysian challengers at bay to capture the weather-shortened PGM UMW Impian Championship.

The 30-year-old clinched the 54-hole event at the Impian Golf and Country Club in Kajang on Saturday after shooting his third straight 67 to win by two strokes on a 15-under 201 total. It was Sattaya’s third Asian Development Tour (ADT) title.
