Ex-rock vocalist released on bail after nabbed with fake gun

KUALA LUMPUR: A former rock band vocalist who was arrested for being in possession of an airsoft gun has been released on bail.

Sentul OCPD Asst Comm R Munusamy said on Thursday that Amir Ukays (pic), from the 90’s band Ukays, was released at about 5pm Wednesday after police seized a fake Walther CP99 pistol from his car earlier in the day.
