No Mara scholarship for Nur Fitri to continue studies, says Shafie

PETALING JAYA: Convicted Imperial College London student Nur Fitri Azmeer Nordin will not receive any form of sponsorship from Mara to continue his studies.

In a statement on Friday, Rural and Regional Development Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal said the Ministry and Majlis Amanah Rakyat (Mara) viewed Nur Fitri’s case gravely, adding that no appeal would be made against his conviction.
