Twenty-six foreign women picked up at five separate locations in vice raid

KUALA LUMPUR: Twenty-six foreign women, including one Indonesian, were picked up following a bust at five separate locations in Jalan Rimbunan 1, Taman Rimbunan, Kepong Wednesday.

The raid was done simultaneously at about 4.30pm by a team led by Bukit Aman D7 Vice, Gambling and Secret Societies branch officer DSP Kamal Khan Mohd Shariff.

"The five premises included three reflexology outlets and two dorms for the women who are aged between 18 and 32.

"Six caretakers comprising six local men and one woman were also nabbed in the bust," DSP Kamal said.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the premises offered sex services to their clients.

"They would start off by watching pornographic videos together before they have sex.

"The price range is between RM140 and RM200 for an hour, depending on the package that you choose.

"At the time of the raid, no customers were in sight," he said.

RM500 cash was seized and several condoms were also found at the premises.

DSP Kamal added that the detainees were brought to Jinjang police station for further action.

The detainees are being held under Section 12 of the Anti-Trafficking in Persons and Anti-Smuggling of Migrants Act 2007 (Act 670) and could face up to a maximum of 15 years in jail and a fine upon conviction.
