MTUC wants banks to provide small bills

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Trades Union Congress (MTUC) has urged banks to provide sufficient stock of RM10 notes in their auto teller machines (ATM) for the convenience of lower income workers.

Its vice-president A. Balasubramaniam told Bernama on Sunday that MTUC had been receiving complaints from the workers that they were unable to withdraw their money from ATMs if they had a balance of less than RM50.
