Lai Kok Chuan, 52, the owner of Heng Kee Restaurant said his two year-old Toyota Vios was hijacked at 11pm on July 7 showing the police report he had made at Rawang community police station.
Toyota vehicle owners are said to be the target of carjackers in Bandar Country Homes in Rawang and nearby areas.
Over a period of five months up to July, residents claimed there have been at least 10 such incidents with the thieves adopting the same modus operandi and targeting only Toyota vehicles.
