Groovy jazz evening

Penang Philharmonic Jazz Section head Jerome Quah (with cap) performing with members of his ensemble and the Penang Philharmonic Contemporary Percussion members at the Penang Philharmonic Jazz Orchestra ¿Once a Month Jazz¿ performance in conjunction with International Jazz Day at the Star Building in Pitt Street recently.

JAZZY tunes provided a relaxed vibe and set the mood for some 200 guests to unwind during the Penang Philharmonic Orchestra ‘Once a Month Jazz’ performance.

The night also featured performances from the Penang Philharmonic Saxophone Quartet ‘The Band of Saxes’, Nurul & The Northern Jazz Unit, and Vivian & the Northern Jazz Unit just to name a few.
