Short-circuit disrupts MBPJ meeting

THE Petaling Jaya City Council’s (MBPJ) full board meeting yesterday was disrupted when visitors were asked to evacuate the building after smoke was spotted in the building.

MBPJ public relations officer Zainun Zakaria said the smoke was caused by a short circuit in the building. However, the meeting resumed after the cause of the smoke was identified.
