Island-based squad go down fighting in second round of FA Cup challenge

MERZAGUA Abderrazzak’s first competitive match as the Sungai Ara FC coach ended in heartbreak after the club side was dumped out of the FA Cup competition.

Sungai Ara went down 1-0 to fellow FAM Cup League side Malaysian Indian Sports Council-Malaysian Indian Football Association (MISC-MIFA) in their second round match at the City Stadium in Penang on Friday night. Both teams had received a bye in the first round.
