Policeman pays high price for bribery

ALOR SETAR: A 53-year-old cop was sentenced to 20 months’ jail and fined RM20,000 for soliciting and accepting a bribe of RM200.

Sjn Azahar Abdul Aziz, who committed the offences while he was with the Kulim Narcotics Crime Investigation Department, needs to serve only 10 months as the court ordered the sentences to be served concurrently from yesterday.
