Debates over unilateral conversion continued until late last night in the Dewan Rakyat with heated exchanges between the MPs.
At yesterday’s extended meeting, emotions ran high over the Amendments to the Law Reform (Marriage and Divorce) Act, mostly about the removal of Clause 88A to prohibit unilateral conversion of a child to Islam.
