Disciplinary, legal action to be taken if cops negligent in detainee's escape

KUALA LUMPUR: Disciplinary action and legal action will be taken against eight remanded policemen if they are found guilty of negligence in the escape of a detainee, said Deputy Inspector-General of police Tan Sri Noor Rashid Ibrahim (pic).

He added that  there would be no special treatment for them if they are found guilty of any wrongdoing.
