‘Star Wars’ fans saddened by Fisher’s death

PETALING JAYA: Fans of the Star Wars movie franchise are devastated with the news of the death of Carrie Fisher, best known as Princess Leia.

“To me, Carrie Fisher not only brilliantly portrayed Princess/Senator/General Leia Organa Skywalker, she made the character one of strength and hope – the only leading lady in the Galactic War of Men. RIP Miss Carrie Fisher. You will be missed as an icon, an actor and a brilliant writer,” said local director Faisal Ishak (of Juvana trilogy fame) who named his daughter Leia.
