PAS Private Member’s Bill should not divide Barisan, says Palanivel

PETALING JAYA: Cameron Highlands MP Datuk Seri G. Palanivel (pic) said the PAS Private Member’s Bill to amend the Syariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act should not be allowed to create a divide in the long-established Barisan Nasional.

He said it was a serious matter and the Government and MPs should debate it thoroughly.
