Going green: Staff of SWCorp and Alam Flora weighing items for recycling from a hotel for a pilot project to improve the solid waste management in Fraser

FRASER’S HILL: This hill resort, famous for its lush greenery, is going truly green.

With a population of 1,000 gene­rating eight tonnes of solid waste weekly, the Raub District Council – with the cooperation of Solid Waste Corporation Management (SWCorp) and Japan International Coopera­tion Agency (JICA) – is aiming to go zero waste.
