'Taman Manggis housing proposal replaced in 2005'


GEORGE TOWN: A proposed People’s Housing Project (PPR) on the remaining 0.5ha plot in Taman Manggis here was replaced with a proposal for a mixed development project in 2005, documents to be declassified Wednesday reveal.

State Housing, Town and Country Planning Committee chairman Jagdeep Singh Deo (pic) told a press conference here that the documents would be made public after they are declassified by the state executive council at its meeting on Tuesday.
