KOTA KINABALU: Sabah is taking steps to annul a 13-year-old rape victim's marriage to her alleged rapist and to remove her into the care of welfare officials.
State Community Development and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Jainab Ahmad also appealed to the prosecution to go ahead and push the statutory rape charges against restaurant manager Riduan Masmud, 40, amid moves to withdraw charges following his marriage to the girl.
