Recipients under National Scholarship Programme increased to 50


KUALA LUMPUR: The number of National Scholarship Programme recipients has been increased to 50 this year from 30 due to the improvement of students' Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2011 results.

“This will give more opportunities to top students to further their studies at some of the world's most renowned universities,” Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said before presenting offer letters to this year's recipients.
