A grass cutter in Malacca panicked when he came across a two-metre long crocodile in a drain near Melaka Perdana Monday, which was said to be "sunbathing". According to the State Civil Defense Department head, Effendy Ali, the 80kg-crocodile is believed to have come from a canal located about 100m away. The officers took 30 minutes to catch the crocodile, which reacted aggressively, and handed the reptile over to the state Wildlife Department.
