AFTER several years of trying to plan a massive cycling event for the visually impaired, Blind Empowerment Society Selangor (Bess) President Eddy Chong Ted Hin now has an amazing achievement to call his own.

The 51-year-old, who became blind and partially deaf 20 years ago due to dengue, successfully drew 64 other visually impaired people to join him on a gruelling 84km-long cycling journey around Kampar district.
