Malaysian diversity shines at One World Hotel’s Ramadan buffet.
BREAKING fast at One World Hotel’s Cinnamon Coffee House will
make you feel proud of Malaysia’s diversity.
Spread out in a myriad colours on the buffet tables are delicacies of Malay, Indian, Chinese, Nyonya and Eurasian origins.
There are more than 140 dishes to choose from, to live up to the theme “Aroma Semenanjung” (Aroma of the peninsula).
Executive sous chef Saiful Baharin Abdul Wahid adheres to originality when it comes to presenting these delights.
“The flavours you are going to savour are authentic to each cuisine, just come here you get to taste everything at its best all under one roof,” he said.
The buffet area is also decked out in items which remind one of a village atmosphere to offer diners a respite from the hustle and bustle of urban life.
Nasi pelangi, daging gulai kawah, ayam percik, puyuh goreng rempah and sup tulang rawan are some traditional Malay delights diners should not miss.
Various curries from the Indian corner to whet one’s appetite are also found here, while dim sum from the Chinese corner and the various exquisite Nyonya dishes offer diners a variety when breaking their fast.
Chinese-style noodle dishes compete for attention against a variety of pastas, while desserts to suit different tastes and with
different textures are laid out in abundance, to spoil diners.
The buffet dinner starts from 6.30pm to 10.30pm, and is priced at RM128++ for adults and RM64++ for children, aged four to 12 years, until Sunday.
