PETALING JAYA: The Goods and Services Tax (GST) should not be imposed on rehabilitation or life-assisting aids for people with disabilities (PWDs), say stakeholders such as Malaysian Muslim Blind Association president Mohd Faisal Che Yusof.
"The implementation of GST has been brought in in a very short space of time. There was no consultation with the non-governmental organisations (NGOs) representing Malaysia's PWDS to determine our needs," said Mohd Faisal.
