MATTA: Passport fees to boost travel


KUALA LUMPUR: The reduction in passport fees can help encourage more overseas trips among Malaysians, according to the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA).

In welcoming the move, its president Hamzah Rahmat said that while there were concerns over the loss of foreign exchange whenever Malaysians travelled overseas, there were benefits as well.
