Vehicle was swaying near a corner before it hit electric pole, says passenger


Smashed: The express bus lying on its side by the roadside after the accident at Jalan Bentong-Raub.

BENTONG: A double-decker express bus with 67 passengers skidded while negotiating a corner at KM11 Jalan Bentong-Raub and crashed into a pole, killing an African and his pregnant Malaysian wife, and another person.

Ten people were injured, including bus driver Wan Khairul Affendi Wan Mustafa, 35, in the 12.30am incident yesterday.
