Police have formed a special unit to go after a man who masquerades as a postman to rob his victims. The suspect lures his victims out of the house by asking them to sign a courier receipt before robbing them. He is believed to have committed at least three robberies in the USJ and Subang Jaya area over the past three months. The latest incident was in SS14, Subang Jaya, where a 70-year-old lady fell prey and lost about RM12,000.

A 57 year-old retiree, Johari Che Ismail, has lodged a police report in Setiu, Terengganu, after RM70,000 disappeared from his bank account. The senior citizen was attempting to withdraw RM500 from an ATM machine, but was shocked to see only RM42 in his account. A check with the bank staff found that someone had used online banking to transfer money out from the victim's account.
