Should Malaysians abroad be allowed to vote? This has become a burning question in the wake of growing political awareness.

Celebrity shoemaker Datuk Jimmy Choo, actress Datuk Michelle Yeoh, designer Zang Toi, supermodel Ling and humanitarian Tan Sri Dr Jemilah Mahmood are as different as they come, yet they have two things in common. One, they have brought honour to the country through their work; two, while they are working overseas, they cannot vote if there is a general election back home.
