SpaceXAI, the artificial intelligence unit of Elon Musk’s SpaceX, is considering an overhaul of its subscription pricing options for users of its Grok chatbot and X social network.

The company plans to soon offer a unified subscription for the services with four pricing tiers, according to a document viewed by Bloomberg News. The pricing options range from a free offering with stricter usage limits for its Grok chatbot to a US$100 (RM408) monthly "Ultra” tier that includes access to its Grok Bot AI agent and is intended for power users, the document shows.

SpaceXAI also intends to offer a new US$8 (RM32) monthly "lite” plan that includes Grok access as well as a verified checkmark and fewer ads on X, formerly Twitter, according to the document.

Musk’s space, satellite communications and artificial intelligence conglomerate is locked in a heated battle to build more advanced AI offerings that rival the likes of Anthropic PBC and OpenAI as it works to sign up more business customers.
