PETALING JAYA: Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) has announced via its social media channels that its banking systems will undergo scheduled maintenance this weekend, starting from 10.45pm on Friday (Oct 24) until 6am on Sunday (Oct 26).

During this period, several banking services will be temporarily unavailable.

This includes online transactions using BSN debit and credit cards through myBSN, myBSN Mobile, and BSNeBiz, as well as transactions via ATMs, cash deposit machines (CDM), and cash recycling machines (CRM).

Other affected services include online purchases requiring the six-digit BSN Online Secured Shopping (BOSS) Code, all debit card transactions (including those through bank agents), DuitNow credit card transactions, as well as card and account services via myBSN, myBSN Mobile, and BSNeBiz.

Online banking through myBSN, the myBSN Mobile app, and BSNeBiz (including DuitNow, JomPAY, and FPX) will also be unavailable during two additional maintenance windows on Saturday (Oct 25) from 12am to 6.30am and Sunday (Oct 26) from 12am to 6am.

The BSN notice further states that credit card transactions made at physical merchant terminals will not be affected and will continue to function as usual.

The bank advises customers to plan ahead and complete important transactions before the maintenance period to avoid inconvenience.
