A Texas police officer stopped to deliver a takeout order while bringing a DoorDash driver to jail, home security video shows.

Ring doorbell footage shared Sept 17 by the Beaumont Police Department shows Officer Bridges walking up to a house with a bag and a tray full of drinks.

“Are you really the deliverer or did I do something wrong?” a resident inside can be heard asking the officer.

Bridges explained that there was a warrant out for the delivery driver’s arrest, the video shows.

“I’m taking him to jail, but I wanted to go ahead and deliver your food,” Bridges told the woman.

“What can we say? Beaumont Police Department delivers,” authorities said on the Facebook post.

The DoorDash driver had “several” warrants out, police said.
