What’s new this week: Acer Predator Triton 14 laptop, Redmi Watch 3 Active wearable and tasty collabs for gamers

Acer Malaysia introduced the Predator Triton 14 on July 3, a 1.7kg laptop that the company said is designed for productivity and gaming.

Inside its 18.9mm chassis is a 13th gen Intel Core i7-13700H processor, with the option of having either the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 or RTX 4050 for graphics performance.

It has a 14in WQXGA (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) IPS display with 165Hz refresh rate, up to 32GB RAM and 1TB storage.

The price for the Predator Triton 14 starts at RM7,599. Customers who purchase the device before July 16 will receive a free Nitro VG270 E monitor and a one-year licence for Trend Micro Antivirus.

Redmi Watch 3 Active

The new Xiaomi Redmi Watch 3 Active has a 1.83in display and a water resistance rating of 5 ATM, which the company claims will allow users to take it for activities like snorkelling.

It also comes with sensors to monitor heart rate, blood oxygen level, and sleep, as well as more than 100 sports modes for activities like trekking.

It has a claimed battery life of 12 days and more than 200 designs for customising the watch face.

The Redmi Watch 3 Active, available in Black and Grey, costs RM179 but is being sold at a promo price of RM129 until July 9.

Here’s something for fans of Genshin Impact: Pizza Hut will be holding a Genshin Impact fan event on July 8 at Sunway Pyramid in Petaling Jaya, Selangor; on July 15 at Queensbay Mall in Penang; and on July 22 at Mid Valley Southkey in Johor Bahru.

The fan event at the Pizza Hut outlets will feature meet and greet sessions with cosplayers, game activities, and a chance to win exclusive merchandise like Welkin Moon posters.

Tickets are priced at RM60 and come with goodies such as the MyBox Melts Genshin Impact premium combo worth RM47.90, a Genshin Impact character notebook, a sticker, a photocard, and in-game rewards.

Tickets can be purchased via the Pizza Hut WhatsApp line.

Zus Coffee has something brewing for fans of the fantasy multiplayer online role-playing game Ragnarok Origin.

From now until July 31, fans can purchase the Velvet Creme Poring Latte drink inspired by Poring, a jelly-like creature that has the ability to pick up dropped items in the game.

The drink is a blend of strawberry fruit mix and honey and costs RM11.90.

Users who download the game from the Huawei AppGallery stand a chance to win exclusive rewards such as in-game gift packs and Zus Coffee merchandise.
