It’s no secret that Henry Cavill indulges in some rather geeky pursuits when he’s not lighting up the silver screen, with his hobby of painting Warhammer 40,000 miniatures and a penchant for PC gaming.
Now in his latest post to Instagram, Cavill shares that he’s just got an upgrade after the old all-in-one (AIO) cooler in his PC build stopped working. The Man Of Steel actor says it’s because of excessive transit, so we can infer that he’s been lugging that rig around while away from home, adding that the recent heatwave over in the UK definitely played a part in it conking out.
From what the British actor wrote in the post, he’s also apparently swapped out the fans on the new cooler, and is waiting for two more to arrive before he’s done with the upgrade.

Based on the pictures in the post, it seems that Cavill did more than just upgrade his cooler over the past two years since his original build, having gone from an RTX 2080 Ti to what seems like an RTX 3080 or possibly 3090.
This definitely isn’t the first time Cavill caused a stir on the Internet with his PC gaming setup – back in 2020, he posted a five-minute video on his Instagram page recapping the entirety of his PC build.
As of publication, the post has garnered over two million likes and over 16.5K comments on Instagram since it was made.
