Early Twitter executive slams Musk’s ‘naive’ free-speech ideas

Jason Goldman, a member of Twitter Inc’s founding team and former board member, criticised Elon Musk’s plan to relax speech restrictions on the platform, saying it “reveals a very naive, unserious approach to the content moderation issues he will face”.

Goldman also took issue with Musk targeting current Twitter employees in his recent tweets, saying it opened them up to abuse and threats from his fan base of more than 86 million followers. Musk, the billionaire head of Tesla Inc, agreed to buy Twitter Inc for US$44bil earlier this week but has continued to denounce the business and its employees.
