PETALING JAYA: Frozen squid rings are a hot topic on social media after a Facebook post claiming that they are made from pork rectum went viral.

The user included images of local squid ring products in the post, which has received over 2,000 comments and 12,000 shares. He claimed such products were selling for RM7.90 per kilo.
