Valentine's Day is in three days! For the occasion, Tinder has decided to bring back a classic. Blind dates are back but now they're online!

We'll explain how this new feature works. Have you ever been on a blind date? These are meetings between singles who have never met or seen each other before, even in photos.

It's an old-school trend that Tinder has decided to resurrect just in time for Valentine's Day.

So how does it work? The idea is simple. Allow two people to talk to each other before seeing each other's photo. To do this, users will have to complete fill-in-the-blank sentences such as "I put ketchup on..." or "It's OK to wear a shirt ____ times without washing it.

Those with similar answers will then be matched. They will then be able to converse in a chat room but the time will be limited.

At the end of this discussion, they will be able to choose to leave or to continue. Only then will they be able to access each other's profile, and only if both parties match.

According to Tinder, this new feature has already proven itself. Early tests have shown 40% more matches between users compared to those using the "Fast Chat" mode.

This new feature is available now to users in the United States. The rest of the world will have to be patient as Tinder has indicated that the feature will be rolling out in coming weeks. – Relaxnews
