Experts: British porn age check plans could pose data security risks

The British government’s plan to require websites that publish pornography to verify the age of their users could pose a data security risk, cybersecurity experts have warned.

As part of a strengthening of the proposed Online Safety Bill, Digital Minister Chris Philp has said affected sites will need to put “robust checks” in place to ensure users are 18 or over.
