Some users claim they have been having issues with the broadband service since Friday.

Update: Maxis says the company has resolved the issue and the Home Fibre Internet service is back to normal.

Some Maxis Home Fibre Internet users may be facing service interruption at the moment – the telco has acknowledged the problem with a tweet, saying that there is a "connection issue" with its service.

According to the website Down Detector, the service outage appears to be affecting users in Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur, as well those in George Town, Ipoh, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu.

Some users commented that they have been having issues with the service since Friday (May 25). Another user who contacted customer support said the issue will apparently take about 48 hours to resolve.
