SHAH ALAM: Maxis Bhd’s datacentre facility at i-City here has been awarded the Tier III Certification of Design — the first and, at the moment, the only one in the country to be accredited with this prestigious certification.

The independent and unbiased third-party certification was done by the New York-based Uptime Institute. Its Tiered Certifications system has been in use since 1995 and has become the default standard for the datacentre industry.
