KUALA LUMPUR: Telekom Malaysia (TM) is targeting more than 50,000 subscribers for its Internet Protocol TV service, HyppTV, by year end.
“To date, we have received more than 20,000 orders for our UniFi services and 15,000 have been installed,” its executive vice-president for new media, Jeremy Kung, told reporters after the launching ceremony here.
“We have added seven new premium channels to HyppTV to satisfy many genres and taste,” he said.
HyppTV, which is available to all TM UniFi High-Speed Broadband users, offers free and pay channels, as well as video on demand.
Since March, TM has made 29 HyppTV channels available for Unifi customers. — Bernama
