Mesiniaga Berhad and TAR UMT forge strategic partnership to accelerate GenAI talent development

LEADING Malaysian IT solutions provider Mesiniaga Berhad (Mesiniaga) and Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate on innovative projects and initiatives.

This partnership aims to leverage both entities' strengths to address the critical need to develop more generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) talents.

These efforts will enable businesses to rapidly adopt and integrate GenAI solutions for enhanced productivity and an increased competitive advantage.

Building on Mesiniaga’s recent “AI-Augmented Development – The New Frontier of Software Engineering” programme, which demonstrated the transformative power of AI in software engineering, this partnership will focus on bridging the gap between cutting-edge academic research and real-world business applications.

The collaboration with TAR UMT is a testament to Mesiniaga’s dedication to nurturing future-ready talent.

TAR UMT is a premier institution of higher learning in Malaysia with a proven track record of excellence. Its brand, synonymous with “Beyond Education”, focuses on developing competencies and values within the students, in addition to imparting academic knowledge and skills that lead them to a fulfilling life and career.
