Resort Residence 2 the final residential parcel in Bandar Sri Sendayan, Seremban

IT has been almost a decade now since Seremban-based developer Matrix Concepts Holdings Berhad first introduced the self-sustaining township of Bandar Sri Sendayan in Negeri Sembilan in 2004.

Spanning across 2538.188ha (6,272 acres), Bandar Sri Sendayan comprises residential, commercial, institutional, as well as industrial and leisure components.

Nestled in the heart of the township is the latest and final premium residential parcel Resort Residence 2 – touted to be a stone’s throw away from everything that fulfils the resident’s lifestyle and an area that includes ample retail conveniences, education hubs, outdoor recreation and lifestyle parks.

According to Matrix Concepts chief sales and marketing officer Lim Kok Yee, the vision for Bandar Sri Sendayan is to be a self-sustaining city, with launches of about 1,500 units of residential property every year.

“Bandar Sri Sendayan currently has 55,000 residents and this number is expected to grow to 120,000 upon completion of the development.

“By this time, it is hoped that Bandar Sri Sendayan will be the prime of Seremban where the community can live, work and play in harmony.

“We believe there is still a healthy demand for reasonably-priced and premium quality landed properties in the market.

“Resort Residence 2 is targeted to be launched this August and we are confident that this parcel will be well-received,” he said.

Self-contained township

The final premium residential parcel is expected to follow after flagship developments like Elymus and Allysum – both semi-detached series with all units fully sold since they were launched in 2021 and 2019 respectively.

Its predecessor, Resort Residence, too, achieved a sold out status and is an ongoing construction comprising 366 units of link houses – all of which extols a stunning resort-living atmosphere.

“Just like the previous phases of the Resort Homes – Elymus, Allysum and Lunaria, Crisantha – they all emphasise the resort-living environment, providing exclusive facilities and amenities such as lake park, jogging track, playground, multipurpose court and gazebo.

“The excellent security and its modern and contemporary design mark the high standard of living in the Resort Homes enclave.

“As for the house configuration, each unit comes with spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathroom to convey the luxury of privacy and proximity,” he said.

He added that the success of Bandar Sri Sendayan is largely attributed to the great connectivity, where the residents can easily access major highways, including the North-South Expressway and Seremban-Port Dickson Highway.

“The township is well established now with not only the mature residential zone, but also commercial, institutional, high-tech industrial, agricultural and leisure components.

“Moving forward, the master developer has plans to further enhance the livability of the township by developing malls, offices and a hospital,” he said.

Future homeowners will get to enjoy an array of amenities as the self-sustaining township conveys opulence and convenience.

They will be given easy access to the precinct’s 2.5ha lake park, which offers facilities such as tree house, island deck, bridge walkway, children’s playground, reflexology path, outdoor barbecue area, badminton court, sunken seating, gym stations and water features.

“Currently, all the amenities, facilities and infrastructure are in place, such as our d’Tempat Country Club, d’Sora Boutique Business Hotel, Matrix Global Schools, national schools such as such as SMK, SJK(C) and SJK(T) Bandar Sri Sendayan, X-Park, Green Park, Sendayan Mosque, surau, Indian temple, Sikh temple, church, banks, fast food outlets among others,” he said.

Besides that, Matrix Concepts amps up the focus on building a holistic community experience by engaging Joey Yap Consulting Group to customise the feng shui of Resort Residence 2.

“They identified that the special feng shui formations – the hills in the vicinity to the East – are ideal to support the wealth accumulation goals of the residents.

“In addition, the other unique mountain here, referred to as the auspicious ‘Greedy Wolf Mountain’ in classical feng shui, provides the future occupants with the potential for greater status, nobility and life fulfilment,” he said.

Lim added that Resort Residence 2 is surrounded by ideal feng shui energy for those who are looking to reside or invest here.

“In feng shui, the water element is an important component of opportunities and the ability to generate money.

“The Joey Yap Consulting Group also identified the lake at the northern side of Resort Residence 2 as having the right location and qualities to be in the most prosperous location for the incoming energy cycle of Period 9 (2024-2043).

“This will enable the development to thrive and grow for the next 20 years – a key aspect for investors looking to invest in the direction of growth,” he added.

Matrix makes it self-sustaining

Incorporated in 1996, Matrix Concepts – a commercial and residential property development company – was listed on the main board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on May 28, 2013.

It has five business segments: property development, construction, education, hospitality, and healthcare, with its property development projects in the central and southern regions of Malaysia as well as in Melbourne, Australia.

“Matrix’s projects live up to its tagline of ‘Nurturing Environments, Enriching Lives’ by being a caring and community developer, providing premier and quality education for the future generation and inculcating integrated sustainable communities in all the developments,” he said.

Closing in on three decades’ worth of expertise as well as a stellar portfolio of property development, construction, education, hospitality and healthcare, Matrix Concepts expects to flourish in the next year.

“(We) expect property sales to reach RM1.2bil in FY23, spurred by the continued strong take-up rate of our products, particularly at the flagship Bandar Sri Sendayan township, as well as due to the lesser threat of Covid-19 operational closure.

“Matrix Concepts believes it is well-positioned to register a solid performance this financial year; the new property sales target also corresponds with the performance reported in its recently-concluded financial year 2022.

“The group will be seeking opportunities for collaboration to further strengthen its value proposition as well as securing quality land for developments in FY2023 as part of its growth strategy,” Lim said.
