Tennis-Djokovic claims first clay win of the season in Geneva

(Reuters) - Novak Djokovic secured his first claycourt victory of the 2025 season as the 24-time Grand Slam champion eased into the Geneva Open quarter-finals, defeating Hungary's Marton Fucsovics 6-2 6-3 on Wednesday.

It was the Serbian's first win on clay since he claimed the gold medal at last year's Paris Olympics, having recently suffered early exits in Monte Carlo and Madrid.
