Swimmer believes in work hard, play hard and win hard

Back in the day: Ong Mei Lin won gold medal`s in the 100m backstroke and 200m individual medley and a silver in the 200m backstroke at the Kuala Lumpur SEAP Games in 1971.

I WILL always be grateful for my time in the pool because as I look back, it was there that I learned the value of “work hard, play hard and win hard.”

It was this motto that led me to not only become an Olympic swimmer but also as a career woman.
