BIRTHDAY girl Aira Azman gave the national women’s squash team a winning start in their final group stage match to move one step closer in their title defence at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.

Aira, who turned 22 yesterday, gave her team the winning momentum against Singapore to reach the quarter-finals at the Nagoya Kinjo Futo Arena.
