KUALA LUMPUR: The Squash Racquets Association of Malaysia (SRAM) will come up with new ideas to overcome boredom in the national team after more tournaments were cancelled due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
The players will skip the Professional Squash Association (PSA) tournaments - Chief of the Air Staff International in Islamabad from April 4-8, Tour in Indore from April 18-21 and Tour in Chennai from April 26-19.
SRAM director Major (Rtd) S. Maniam said they would have a meeting on Monday to come up with new plans.
“We’ll plan some activities for the players to keep them motivated.
“We may have some friendly matches to keep them active, ” said Maniam.
The only tournament that has been lined up for the players so far is the SRAM PSA 1 tournament in Bukit Jalil from April 20-23.
