Nicol’s the sole women’s singles survivor for Malaysia

PETALING JAYA: Nicol David is the only Malaysian women’s singles squash player to reach the third round of the Tournament of Champions in New York City.

The former world No. 1 beat current world junior champion Rowan Elaraby of Egypt 11-9, 11-7, 13-11 and will take on fourth seed Joelle King of New Zealand for a place in the quarter-finals.
