Esports racer Genevieve makes one and only outing special

AMPANG: Genevieve Henrietta Ooi’s first Malaysia Games (Sukma) appearance will also be her last, and she got it started with a gold medal in the esports e-simulator racing event with her Sarawak teammates yesterday.

For the 21-year-old, who was born in Selangor to a Sarawakian mother, the victory in the endurance race meant more than winning a medal - it was a meaningful achievement that brought her closer to her roots.
